well, you would need the 1200 to buy the h22, then the money to install it, which will be anywhere from 300-1000, depending on who does it. Then you gota buy a different manifold because your current one isnt gona fit.
Then later on you will have to deal with the fact that you cant really boost much on a stock h22. If you wana boost more, u gota pay more.
So yea, id say buy the tranny, and turbo ur current motor.

Its going to be more expensive to build the h22 and then turbo it... But trust me when its done you'll love it... Vtec and turbo are just a nasty combo. I have a vid somewhere of a h22 civic spinning the first 3 gears and chirping 4th on a stock h22 with turbo. That car was nasty.

thats acctully not that hard if u just power shift...my dad had his stock 2003 eclipes v6 doin exactly that...which only has a lil more hp than the stock h22Originally posted by koolkoreankedIts going to be more expensive to build the h22 and then turbo it... I power shift every gear, every time, every light. Unless I'm just crusing. Thats why my new f22 tranny is already grinding. I can catch third gear in my car and thats at 80 mph... and in the rain 4 gear is pretty easy too and thats 110 mph. All the eclipse v6s I've driven didn't have enough balls to chirp 3rd. Do me a favor, if your dad still has the car get a vid of him spinning all the way thr 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. I'd really like to see a stock eclipse v6 do that.

revving up the motor and dropping the clutch after every shift is definatly not power shifting... The h22 turbo civic I was referring to was short shifting and getting in and out of the gas and still burning the tires. Thats what I was wanting you to show me. I can do it in the rain with my h22 but thats about it.
and..... back on topic.
