Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Yea man you should search before you ask questions, they are all over this website for where you can find one and what you can use. I even have one for sale. Check it http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=39642 Pics of it are on the second page but it will look like the one on the first page before it goes anywhere.

Stock DSM manifolds can only get you so far. Then they begin to hinder performance along with the flange limitations.

I've seen a 2g DSM running 500 whp with the stock manifold... apparently good enough... I'm sure it was ported though

our cars are not dsm, dsm's are built for boost. So if someone here plans on making 500hp, i really hope they invest in a good manifold. It's one of those things that if your gonna build it that much, build it all the way, dont cheap out on a mani.

But if the manifold is good for 500 hp... why not?

Isnt he saying that it would be easier to get to 500 hp with a good mani than a stock dsm one?

What would I need to make a XS T3 fit a DSM manifold? Does anyone have any optinions about this turbo?

obx makes a manifold for the h23 and the f22a now. I dont know the quatlity of the h23 but my dsm one is nice and about double the price of the h23.
