my oil is freakin black and i only drove 650 miles. i guess turbo heat really takes a toll on the oil. when do u season turbo dood usually change the oil? wut oil u guys use? i use castrol synthetic 20w50

i use mobil 1 20,50 and i still change it around every 3000 miles. if its getting black fast its prolly too rich and its good to change it when it gets black because its not doing its job.

Yes they do make oil coolers, as well as filter relocator kits. An oil cooler will allow you to use more oil in your system as well as keep it cooler.
Check out Summit Racing or Jegs. Both carry some good kits.Comment

I get Honda Oil and that always gets dark fast...but the mechanics told me the oil is supposed to do that....

im planning on every 2k miles or so once i start racking the miles up on it. also, if when you take out your dipstick and you smell gas on it, as in gas kind of mixed in with the oil(running rich), it means you should certainly change that oil.2010 Taurus SHO - Livernois Goodies
