Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

I'd say ditch the dsm setup idea and go with a decent log manifold, t3/t4 or a gt series turbo and 280 won't be a problem.

Look up some of my old threads and you'll find my setup, but the gist of it is this:

        Log mani
        t3/t4 .63/.60
        3" exhaust (Clears A/c)
        tial 35mm w/g external dump
        2.25" i/c piping
        20x9x2.25" fmic
        stock block h23
        delta 260's

        280whp/260tq @ 9.5 psi.

Ran great, reliable even with 180k miles.

        Ran a 13.2@105 with only 245whp @ 8psi

Never got a clean run in with the updated setup before the fuel pump quit at full boost and melted all 4 pistons.

It is feasable, and reliable when done right.

The EVO III 16G is the only "Big" 16g that will work with the dsm manifold. The other 16g turbo's are designed differently.

There have been very few reliable dsm setups done here.

The best thing you can do is get better pistons and rods. Spend the money on that.
