Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

i think people ask to much for parts. like im wonna buy dsm stuff. im not gonna pay $250+ for a small ass 14b i can get a bigger turbo somewere else but then a manni is more cash. but if you stick n/a theres lil things you can do to get power and you dont need money just to keep your setup going. i like turbos for the power but if you dont have money just for to keep up a turbo build you shoulf have an extra car.

      250 for a 14b?
      Is that the price new?
They can be found abundantly for 100 or less and a rebuild kit can be found for the same.
The dsm mani can be found for 100 or less as well, and often times comes with the o2 housing and all.
Also, staying NA will not produce similar hp amounts for the same amount of money. Upkeep in an engine should essentially be the same, regardless of whether or not you are NA or FI. It's just that with turbo the margin for error is smaller, and you have to let it sit for a moment before you shut if off usually.
