Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    The new F'n build begins...

I have been so busy lately... I have my VTECless H22 about to hit the dyno next week, My K series in the CB is moving as well, but I want to tell you about my newest build... the GF's "F".

This build is a 89mm X 97.5mm Set up that will be at just under 12.5/1 compression.

All the parts are ordered, so in a couple weeks I will be posting pics of this progress.

This is going in a 95 Civic EX Coupe as a replacement for her B20vtec That topped out at 12.5 @ 109, All motor. May not seem that fast to some of you but our elevation sucks. It will be still a street car and a daily driver.

Thanks go out to Bisimoto and Hasport for their support with our efforts.

F22. This is following the same exact displacement as my current 300whp H22.

          That's not a real f22, you're cheating.

Can't wait to see the build tho. I've been wanting to do an 89x95 build myself lately. I already have a sleeved block.

So this is the build you've been tormenting me with hahaha! Wish you well, that is awesome that another F22 NA build is underway. I should finish mine because if you finish before me, that would be ridiculous as you just started!

I had a feeling you and Bisi were up to no good hahaha. Now it all makes sense!

I take it you took Bisi's advice and went 89mm instead of the 90mm w/ periodic HG issues? Will the crank be a tweaked stock crank or a completely custom piece? What sort of cam might Bisi set you up w/? Will this motor have ITBs? Great plans, really anxious to see another built F22A

No sir... I have run 89mm bore on many street H22 projects for years.
Since this is a "street" project I went based on my own experience.

The crank will be identical in stroke to my current H22 set-up at 97.5mm.
We will be using a plenum manifold until she can afford the Kinslers.

Make sure you document this build well, as I will be watching it closely. I have a goal of 250whp N/A for my f22 for a street build as well, so I'm curious to see it actually put into play.

Why the longer stroke as opposed to destroking the motor? Does that yield power in a lower range, while a destroked, bored engine will have to rev higher?
There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!
