Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    cams for h23 non-vtec

I am new here, and have just gotten my hands on a CB9 (91 Accord Wagon). I got a free h23 out of the deal and will be putting that in when I have time (hopefully within the month). Now, I am searching around online and not finding many options for cams. I may boost the motor down the road, but I want a slightly more aggressive set of cams. Are my only options to have them reground?

The car already has I/H/E so it shouldn't be too bad, but you know how we are, always looking for more.
    - Phase 1ne, get off of lazy arse and put in h23, then do some bodywork and paint

you know if you're boosting down the road, you'll need turbo cams or stock might work okay.

but NA cams are made for longer duration & lift.

so knowing that...you willing to spend money on NA cams now, & swap them out for turbo cams later?

if so, talk to Delta camshaft & see if they can do a regrind on H23 cams. Then, you'll just need some upgraded valve springs

why not just spend the time to P&P the H23 cyl head & the intake manifold as well with better NA cams or a regrind.

but if you have time & can make it work, have the will....do it up, post any successful results
