Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    325whp 227wtq H22

    325.6 WHP 227.3WTQ

102mm Billet crank, Darton MID 90mm sleeves, Aries 15/1 pistons, GRP AL rods, Web Cams .516"/260* cams, Kinsler 60mm ITB's, ID 2200cc fuel injectors (intended for methanol), TCR header.

IMO, there is a lot of miss-matched parts on this set-up that could be changed to make more power. I honestly feel that based on it's displacement, it is less than impressive. I thought it might make more power, but I feel that I did so many thing wrong on this build. I would change the portwork, to flow a bit better (315cfm @.500"), Larger cams to work with this compression. Smaller diameter ITBS... just for starters. We also used ID 2200cc injectors, which were not the best for this application. I had originally intended to switch to methanol, but instead we tuned on VP Q16. The smaller ID 1000cc injectors would have made more power due to the better atomization they provide over the 2200cc's. I have a few more ideas, but it was kind of a slapped together engine. It did pretty good though so I am not totally unhappy, just need to make the changes happen because there is definately more HP to make with the H22.

That's almost twice the stock hp. Id say that's pretty impresive. If you're unhappy with things then do work....

It's not a CB7 so it shall remain nameless... But if you look closely at my signature... you might see it.

Please do share your Ridgeline build, at least the final product. I saw one at Pikes Peak last summer and just fell in love with the idea of a street truck that can really pull.

That's almost EXACTLY twice the stock HP!

Scott, that's amazing. This motor (well, in a previous life) has been one of my biggest inspirations since you were making 249whp and ripping on Z06s with with the CB7!
