Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Whats Wrong???

    I got a problem with my car...
    I have intake,headers and exhaust..if that helps narrow it down any
    In first gear, the car is very hesitant....it has some backfiring and it sounds like its not getting gas
    When you step on the gas a little, it all clears out and runs fine.
    The car has a very clean idle and the problem only occurs in 1st gear
    I recently got a tune up, oil change, and new spark plugs
    Does anyone know what can be wrong with my car?? If you know is it easily fixed?? HELP!!!!

        im throwing a cel...but i have an exhaust leak and im not sure if the light is coming on because of the fuel thing or the leak

            yeah get one code cleared up cause you might have another one ontop of it. If not, the first code may be fucking other shit up

                      This might not be even close but it sounds legit. Maybe your getting to much full right up front like carbs do. then it clears and your good then you stop it loads up some how then when you floor it it clears. Also check your cap and rotor for moisture. Posibly replace those also its cheap and way easy.

                          yo daniel...you fixed the cel...it used to come on right when the car started up...now it just does it when it recognizes the engine running rough
                          btw thanks for fixing that it got on my nerves alot
