Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

I don't want you to take this as argumentative, I'm just trying to figure out what happened so I can avoid it.

You originally said this happened at the 60' mark, which is at worst 2-3 seconds after launching. I would also hope he was much farther down the track than 150 feet, 3-4 seconds after shifting into second and hitting the switch. Was he running the stock intake tubing? I can completely see that collecting fuel in the ridges.

I've gotta trust the manufacturer of my nitrous kit when they say I can safely place it between 6 and 18 inches from the TB.

Does this look like a safe kit to run? I've never installed or used anything like this, so I'm not sure and am kinda nervous about it.

Also how hard would it be to add a WOT switch to this. I'm not sure I trust myself with the push button switch.

for safety you should have two switches and most kits come with two switches. one to arm the system and the other to activate it (WOT) Its usually just a small micro switch that you mount to the throttle body on a little bracket so the tang that sticks off the side of the throttle rotor hits it when it is at WOT.

Wow, didn't know the WOT switch was that simple lol, thanks. And the "Bottle in a bag" comes with just a push button switch to engage and disengage, not really a fan of that.
