Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    ?bottle and boost?

soon ill be getting an h22 and i plan on running turbo on it but id like to spray it too(a small shot)...and for turbo i know its best to keep the compression pretty low..and for nitrios i know that for percaution its good to upgrade ur fuel system, and internals(correct?) and that would be rasing the compression (correct?)..so really wat im asking and i guess its pretty noobish,,can u run turbo and nitrios together? and if so, how so?

Yeah you can do both. It helps to spool a big turbo up for that extra off the line power. building the internals of your engine doesn't increase compression. lol Just build it up for turbo and if you need more power then add nitrous.
Oil leak? What oil leak? That's just sweat from all that horsepower!

    Applied knowledge is power!

domed pistons WILL increase compression . . . dished pistons will decrease compression . . . If your going to put the engine through the abuse turbo and nitrous will bring . . . sleeving and forged piston and beefier rods would be advised

Nitrided pistons will laugh at that kind of abuse...

I thought so . . . but I guess if nitrided stock pistons could take the shit for a while . . . it would give you a chance to save up more money to fully build if your on a budget

Boost and juice is good, if you build you engine right. You can use the juice on lower rpm range to create more exhaust gas faster, hence, less boost lag.

well when you turbo you naturally have to upgrade the fuel system. Just build everything for boost. A little nitrous wont hurt a motor already build for boost.
