Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    I wanna SPRAY!

OK, Im all out of things to to to my F22A4 before the F22B1 swap. That will be on down the road because i need to save for boost/dyno time, and im not really in a hurry for all that. So, what i want to do, is get the CHEAPEST possible nitrous setup for like a 75 shot. Even if its a thrown together kit from different companies, what all would i need? Thanks for the input

yea def go for the basic 50-75 dry shot.. either zex, nos, or nx... imo venom isnt worth all the extra money... but when you do get it.. make sure u get a pressure gauge and a bottle heater..

Dry means that nitrous is injected without any extra fuel added.

Basically what nitrous does is add oxygen to the combustion chamber, when the spark plug ignites the mix the oxygen also ignites and burns all the extra fuel producing all that extra power.

Zex makes both a Dry and Wet kit. Wet kits are great but require more tunning. With a weaker shot like 50-75 they really are not needed as the factory fuel system can deliver enough fuel.

Zex has nothing to do with your ECU. It interfaces with your FPR's vacum circut. When the nitirous is being injected the ZEX unit increses fuel pressure to make the injectors flow more to meet the added fuel need. It also has an electrical connection that interfaces with the signal wire of your TPS. The system only sprays at WOT.

It's really a wonderful system. I have a 75 Shot dry kit from Zex. Very happy with it, only downside is as with any drug you can't stay high forever. It runs out quick.

Nitirous is engine cociane. Or crack more like it.

Two kind of odd ball questions, but I got them from your postings.

          1) Where does the F22b1 engine come from & what are it's specs? I don't recognize it off-hand, but assume it's prolly a later model Accord.

          2) I saw from your engine bay pic that you have a breather element to what I think is the PCV valve? It's on the top left of your valve cover...what is it & what for? I was thinking it's cuz you don't want the PCV gases mixing in with your charge...but don't know if I'm right.

            1) The F22B1 is from 1994-1997 Accord EX's and 1997 Acura CL 2.2's. It's 145hp and 147 ft lbs of torque.

            2) It's not on the PCV valve but on an open port that goes to the inlet air before the TB. When you mash the gas it makes Vacum that the PCV valve loses. The reason I but a breather there was because I used the connection for it on my intake to connect my Nitrous nozzle. I also didn't want all of the oil being blown into the intake from there. But now reconsidering it my H22A will have it connect. I want that vacum in the valve cover. I'l just be welding a nut on the intake for the nozzle to go in this time.

The F22B1 is the 94-97 EX VTEC engine. It's pretty much the same, I.E. same rods, pistons, compression... Just has VTEC too... I'm doing the same swap, But I bored out the cylinders to accept H22 Pistons and doing some head work.
