Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    nitrous/Venom control module help!!

i have a 91 accord with a f22b1 swap done and i have I/H/E. i recently bought a Zex dry system with 50,65,75 shot jets. my question is i also have the Venom 400 control module which advances the timing. i have heard that if i want to run nitrous i have to get rid of the Venom system because of the timing advance. is that true or can i leave it on and run the nitrous at the same time. someone please let me know because i am hooking the nitrous up tomorrow and i don't want to blow the motor.

I would definitely not recommend it. Whenever you run nitrous you want to have the timing retarded instead of advanced so you don't get any detonation. Whenever they have the nitrous for sale on most websites/magazines they will tell you not to use it with any device that advances your timing.

yeap, u have to have the timing knocked back....for 55 shots...cool
but higher....has to be knocked back.
dont worry, u really wont notice the extra HP u get from advancing the timing once u spray
      NEED RAP BEATS.....

Now in the Zex kit you have like 50, 65, 75 shot options. For each one do you have to retard the ignition timing respectively?

I heard a little different on the timing.

              55 and below - 0 degrees
              65 - 1
              75 - 2-3

I'm not totally sure about which one is right. I've seen that most places I researched nitrous though.

I did 80 shot for 2 years on only 2 degree retard. Had no problems, but I did have colder spark plugs, fpr, and ignition.
