So if two cars have a 2.5" drop, one with 15's and the other with 14's, the one with the 14's is going to be considered lower?

I would agree if the tire size was consistent on both set ups. Look at it this way, a hummer with 24" probably has no tire gap but not all considered low. Drop the hummer within 5" of the ground and it's dumped. I would use the ground clearance as a proper measurement. There are a lot of variables with tire gap and it's an unreliable kind of measurement.

this is true because i have 3 sets of rims an tires so depending on what rim/tires i put on my tire gap, an ground clearance will change....

screw the tire gap and screw the rim size i say low as in actual frame closer to the ground

lol how is ground clearance unreliable, if you're low to the ground you're low to the ground. Rim diameter is unreliable, not ground clearance.

not based on tire aspect ratio.... if u have a smaller sidewall tire and a larger diameter rim it evens out.....

haha that was on ebay coils when i first got the car, i got tired of that really quick...they were only on for a week, i drove the car maybe 50 miles. pretty stupid.
