this problem persists with either the ball joint or control arm camber kits?
or does it depend? because I am planning to get ignalls

It happens with both. At least from my experiences. I've used both types. Anchor bolts move the whole UCA out and the edge of the arm hits. Ball joint adds height to the top of the ball joint and I'm pretty sure that is the part that hits which is where I'm at now.

At least with the anchor bolts you can adjust them more negative to get more clearance. With the ball joints if you hit you'll hit no matter what setting they're at.

                      thanks!
well, i dont really like the idea of having negative camber at all...even if it's just 1 degree..............

but i guess i have no choice if i want to lower my car.
is it true that the rear of the car doesnt require camber kits?

? i have a inner mount camber kit installed on my car, the alignment is at 0.0 camber in the front. I modified the lip of the uca and I haven't had an issue where it still hit the inner wheel well. I also am only 1.5 -2" lower.

so how low do you have to lower your car in order to come across this problem?

i bought this car from the original poster of this thread. after a few years the upper control arms ended up being rusty and bent with two extremely worn joints.

the car has been lowered on neuspeed race's (2.2")... so im not sure at what point it actually starts hitting

sort of. you have to be careful because too much of anything is bad, but a little negative camber in the rear helps your corning stabilty, say in touge and stuff. wouldn'tnecessarily run it out o nthe street but you certainly can... not as critical to handling as the front camber
