16x7 Wheels .. What Size Tires?

Ok, so I found the wheels I want in 16x7. I'm lowered on Function and Form 2 C/O's.

I've searched and read a bunch of threads, but they all seem to be sort of dated.
I have 205/55/15's on the sedan in my sig. The 16's are for the wagon.
I'm confused and befuddled in terms of what size tires to get.
Do I stay 205 .. or make a minor jump to 215 .. some will say go all the way with 225.

There's also no real concern about speedo accuracy, as I run the 220kM face-plate anyhow.
And I can do the math and add the 8 or 10%, or whatever .. so ..

I've been looking at the BF Goodrich G-Force, as they seem to be the talk of the town here at CB7T.

So what's a good looking fit? The 215 or could I stay with the 205?
I can adjust the FF/2 accordingly .. so that's also not an issue ..

Thanks guys ....... and gals ..

I personally think the 205's are best on a 7" rim but 215 would still be okay. I'm running stock 195s on a 7" rim and they look perfect IMO.

The BFG g-force A/S is what I have now and they are a great tire. I REALLY like the Potenza pole position too though.

maybe 205, but certainly no taller tire.

All I gotta really say is:
People of cb7tuner, this AUTO is NOT a joke. It has impressed ME, the hater of auto's.

        Cool!
        Thanks guys!

Seeing as how we deleted P/S .. I didn't really feel like trying to turn 215's .. much less 225's lol!

I'll prolly end up with a 50 or 55 series .. not so sure yet.

        Thanks again mates!

I know this thread is a few days old, but since I've had the same setup and similar wheel specs, I wanna chime in.

I have 16x7.5 +40 Borbet Type-Cs and went through three different sizes with them.

          205/45/16:

          225/55/16 up front:

(rears rubbed, i ended up doing 205 after a few days. fronts rubbed if cornered really hard)

          225/55/16 rear:

This is what I drove around in the most, 205/55/16:

IMO, 205/50/16 should be the magic size after going back and forth with 45 and 55.

I think, sorta kina maybe, I'm almost sure .. that I'll get the 205/55/16's.
I don't wanna bend or f up my rims with 50 series tires. I've heard from 2 people that it's possible.

Plus .. they also say that the ride "feels better" with a 55 series ..

Thanks for chiming in and showing all the variations Julian .. that's a nice accord there man!
A nice drop and all .. nooo tire gap too .. love it!

No prob! Just wanted to share and help out! And thanks, man. I do miss her, but she's in a better place now... as a soda can.

But yeah, some days 205/55/16s aren't bad, but the sidewall kills me. Kinda like balloons. Rode hella nice, but I probably would've been happier with 50s.
