thanx gdout90accord. looks like ill start reading up on tunning. when i get more $ ill have MRX send me a P06 with one of his maps and ill go from there. for now ill just get the muffler itself. cant really drop that much money on the whole catback. next summer i might just get a whole new piping put in.

dont weld the muffler onto the stock piping, especially if you're gona replace the piping later on. just wait so you can buy everything at once. a custom 2.5" exhaust shouldnt cost more than 350, thats with a cat, muffler, resonator and piping and the labor.

go here for more information on tuning with uberdata: http://uberdata.pgmfi.org/forum/

go here for the basics on tuning:http://www.pgmfi.org/twiki/bin/view/Library/WebHome

read, read, read, read, read and read some more.

its not that hard without power steering. you get used to it after a while.

but if you're doing it for power, then thats really pointless. i did it to get rid of extra weight. now i just gota work on myself, lol.

lol yea i never got around to installing mine either. it is a pain in the ass in the beginning but you do get used to it. i had my alignment dona and all but sometimes the steering does feel a bit wierd or funky over bumps and what not. i was told thats because the powersteering used to absorb all that and now i can actually feel it all and im the one moving the car. oh yea pics coming up in few mins

i decided to check my spark plugs today and when i took them out this is what i saw:

is the red on there normal? what causes it? the car runs smooth and no problems. could i be running rich or lean

are those the plugs that came with the engine? also, are those the plug wires that came with it also? mine came with the same wires. i suggest you get new ones. they crapped out on me after a few 100 miles.

the plugs that came with the engine had the same red dust on them. this plug is from a new set of NGKs that i put in. and yea im still using the wires that came with the motor. ill be getting a new set of NGK ones soon anyway. no idea what the red dust is.
