Took a little over 4 days total, the hardest part of the swap was working in 120*+ temperatures, constant breaks and thirst busters are a must in phoenix.

Well the first spin I took in it I threw code 13= IAC only because It wasn't plugged in all the way, 2nd code was the knock sensor because the pin wouldn't stay in the connector. But I fixed both now and there are no codes.

Good job on the swap, 4 days is excellent. Hell, when I was 17, I was just swaping bicycle parts. I got some questions:

The inside diameter of the DC header looks a lot smaller than the stock JDM one. Is that correct? And are there good aftermarket headers the same size or bigger than the stock one?

Did you do the H23 Tensioner conversion?

How about power steering and cruise?

Yea the stock JDM header looks to flow much better than the DC. There are headers that flow better than both the DC and JDM but they cost $$$.

No, I have faith in the auto-tensioner.

For the power steering I wanted to use the prelude pump instead of the accord, which meant I either had to get a prelude line, or just weld the prelude line to the accord high pressure which is what I did. I ditched the cruise because I never even used it.

awesome man! great job on the swap, it looks great, and nice and clean. makes you feel very accomplished, right? the thing i like most about doing a swap is how much you learn from it, and you get to be very comfortable with everything in the engine bay. im glad i provided useful help

lmfao... anyways. i save this link cuz i'm going to be doing this h22a swap on my car. people said it could be done in 4 hours to take the f22a out my engine and slap the h22a in it. well looking at ur journal it doesnt look possible but i hope it is possible. i was searchin for h22a swap and so far this thread is the only one still in cb7. the rest got deleted i guess. it would be much better if i could find a better DIY on h22a swap. i wish i saved the link that's how this thread got bump.

Well this is my first time viewing your thread and I'm impressed. Good pictures, dialog, and the swap looks great. That ball joint popping trick OWNS no doubt, I'll use that from now on.

Can't wait to do my swap next year!!

this is good motivation for me, to know someone my age can do this too so hopefully in a few months I'll be making one of these threads.
