A1 & A4 Cam Lift

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE F22A1 CAM LIFT IS DIFFERENT FROM THE F22A4 CAM?

I have a head off an A4 that I am going to put on an A1 and need to know if it is going to cause my ecu to go crazy

it wont make your cam go crazy...ive ran a PT3 with an a6 cam and it still runs fine.

yea both use a pt3....one difference is the pt3 from the a4(ex) has no speed limiter
oh and to the original poster you will be fine....f22a6 has a difffernt cam and a pt3 would still run the a6 just fine it just wouldnt open the iab's

I thought the pt6 was the only one with no limiter. Are you thinking of the f22a6 version of the EX?

90-91 ex.... f22a4 pt3 ecu has no limiter...im sure of that
f22a1 pt3 has a limiter

I am sure of the f22a4 ex having no limiter. I ran the car to 125 in my old auto car. After that run the check engine light came on lol.

F22a1 > 90-93 DX/LX (including 93 LX 10th anniv)

F22a4 > 90-91 EX

F22a6 > 91 SE, 93 SE and 92-93 EX

Hmm, if I remember correctly, the A1 and A4 have the same cam profile, and the A6 has a smidge more lift.

The only difference is the exhaust manifold. Same cams, same IM and UP. Parts numbers are identical for each.
