About two months ago my check engine light came on. I did the paperclip test: code 43. In no way did the car perform poorly, or show any symptoms of a problem. The light didn't come on for several more weeks. Now it comes on after 5-10 minutes of driving almost every time I drive. I've swapped my IM with that of an H23 since this began, but since I've encountered this issue before, I find it unlikely that my work is related to the problem.
I can't find anything wrong with that car. Despite having the FITV blocked off, it idles without issue. My fuel economy hasn't noticeably suffered, and the o2 sensor was replaced ~3000 miles ago (6 months or so). Can someone shed some light on this? I'm tempted to disregard the CEL, maybe even disconnect the LED, but then I wouldn't be aware if there were any real problems
