    McMasters 80A vs 94A?

Anyone felt these back to back? My BRAND NEW rear mount is shot and I want to fill it... I had 94A, and I loved how direct it made the shifts feel. It also tightened up my front end a lot; I can feel the motor rocking around in turns now. However vibration at idle was pretty out of control. My car now is older + has more rattles so more idle vibration would be awful. But I still want the shifts to be crisp. Should I just get the 80A?

It's been awhile but Noxidea has 80A on all 4 corners, 1 lb total. I used to have 94A on all 4 corners, 2 lbs total, it was wicked. Now I have stock sides, but front and rear are the same, so 1lb for those 2 mounts, I am very happy w/ it. It does rattle the grill and other parts during the colder months, but not too bad. What was your idle set at? You should raise it till you find a good compromise. If I were you, I would do 94A front and rear, leave the sides alone and cut ALOT of rubber out of the 2 mounts before filling them.

are u sure the front mount isnt dead? cause if it is it puts alot of tension on the rear. usually breaking it
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

Front mount isn't in Prob the cause of the problem. Gonna fill + replace the front & rear. I have the front, it's just hard to line up so I never fixed it.

haha laziness ftl. The front mount is called the torque mount isn't it? to handle all the torque of the engine, upon twisting? Idk man, 2 17mm bolts doesn't seem that hard to install, now you gotta remove 3 14mm bolts that are even harder to get to along w/ a 17mm bolt lol.

                  hahaha caughtcha!

an easy way to line it up is to put a jack under the engine with a piece of wood to lift, then once your near the hole for the mount, use a screw driver to pry it in place then put the bolt in...

honestly i think the front is easier than the rear lol!

id say just get a new standard motor mount, put a poly mount insert in the front...possibly one in the rear if they make it...and call it a day MR. I SHIFT HARD haha.

4 all the trouble of pressing out the mounts I'd rather just fill stockies. Are they stronger than the Accord ones stock?

u dont press out anything. all u do is push the inserts together and ur done. no crazy vibration. also accords dont have rear mount inserts only the fronts. preludes have both
