    2 door vs 4 door

I'm not trying to start an arguement or anything I'm wondering if I should keep my 4 door or go with a 2 door. I really just want a trim that'll be light [even if i have to strip it]. So anyways, I pulled up some specs on edmunds.com and here is what it gave me [oddly... the dx sedan confuses me] but i just want to know what you guys think.

    LX Coupe: 2822
    LX Sedan: 2857
    DX Coupe: 2738
    DX Sedan: 2733
    EX Coupe: 2888
    EX Sedan: 2923
    SE Sedan: 3053

if you want a project car to turn into a full race one, i guess start out with the lightest DX coupe... but if its just a daily driver, even if you go with an EX sedan its still only 100lbs heavier, which i think translates into .1 seconds faster in the 1/4? idk but it will be barely noticable, but the difference in features is totally noticable. i wouldnt ditch the sedan for a coupe just to save the 30 lbs, but thats just me, and i like having the extra doors.

I got a 4dr DX :-D I love it, I wouldnt trade it for a 2 door . I put stuff in the back seat a lot, so raising up the seat all the time would be a PITA. my car is MOSTLY stock though, and has some cosmetic damages if ya wana peep it http://www.cardomain.com/id/tpyoknig , also if you peep it, those dice on the mirror say: Class of 05

                  Peece,

well, im happy to say i own the lightest one on the list: '90 DX sedan. isnt that wierd how the 90 Dx sedan weighs 5 lbs. less than the coupe. i cant be happier with my accord. it has been a long time coming. in my opinion, i would venture to take an educated guess and say that the wheels on the SE might play somewhat of a role in the weight difference. there are many other factors im sure, hence why it weighs more: ITS A SPECIAL EDITION!!! Vtec could play a part in having more weight for the EX models, as well as more optional features.

hope this helps you all. it is a little more detailed than the above list. but, isnt that what everyone here at CB7tuner.com is looking for; DETAIL? anyway, use this for reference and realize that different years weighed different weights b/c of options, wheels, type of transmission and other factors. ENJOY!!!!
