Gas Lid Frozen shut?!

if its the gas fill door that pops open take your car ky and stick it in the crack between the quarter panel and the gas fill door and the pop your trunk

This is for my friend's cb7 but Thanks ill tell him im pretty sure hes tried that. but i dont know what else you can do when its -9.

if that doesnt work tell him to pound it with his fist until all the ice is broken or he can go to the store and get a small bottle of de-icer

Are you talking about the door that pops open to give you access to the cap that screws off or the actual cap itself? Is he stuck at a gas station or something?

Either use a car key to pry it open or get hot water and dump it into the cracks around the gas door. Should open right up.

^^^ ... dont do it with the car key... if it breaks your screwed... use a flat-head screwdriver but be careful not to bend/chip the quarter panel

I thought mine was frozen shut, so I was hitting it with my hand to try to break the ice, broke my damn gas door in half. That looked retarded. Whatever you do, just be careful
