For a little while now I've noticed this really odd chirping noise that seems to come from my dash or firewall area. I have no idea what it is. It seems to do it when I back up and then put it in drive and slowly take off. It sounds like an old school printer. It's definetly not a mechanical noise, it sounds like some sort of computer noise. It is so weird. Anyone that gets in the car hears it and is like WTF is that noise and I'm like "I dunno, squirrell in the glovebox?"
I've never heard anything like this in any vehicle. It doesn't do it constantly, just occasionally, usually low speeds when I'm coasting or braking.
I'm thinking it could have something to do with the ABS. Anyone have any sort of idea? It's weird and really annoying.
