Yes, clean that all off very well! I might add: A very light and I mean light coat of grease on the input shaft is good for slight disk movement back and forth. Very light, even take a small flathead screw driver and scrape out all the splines so it's a consistent layer of grease. Do a good job greasing for the throw out bearing and fork too, it all results in a smooth operation that you can feel through the pedal believe it or not. Also make sure your rear main seal is good to go too.

    New Clutch Install Question

Just bought a brand new Stage 4 Competition Clutch and 9.5lb flywheel for my h22. They have a light coat of grease on the pressure plate and flywheel and from what I've searched and read, its some sort of anti-rust grease or something. So my question is, should i leave it on there? cause I'm kind of worried about the grease making it slip. Or should i just go ahead and just clean it off with some brake cleaner?
Working...
