clean the crap out of the distribitor area so that the surfaces have NO more oil. Then get a long paper towel and wrap it around the distribitors base.
If its leaking from the distribitor the towel would be soaked. If not then the journey continues.
When was the last time you changed your pcv valve, a clogged one would cause oil to spirt out of certain areas in the engine bay.
