    Cruise Control

    Anyone know how to pull out the cruise control cable?
    My CC hasn't worked in three years, I never used it anyway, so I figured I might as well rip the whole thing out. I'm just stuck on that cable.
    '91 accord (gone but not forgotten)
    '01 330i (now the wife's)

      Yeah, tin snips work, but I was looking at the plastic collar that goes thru the firewall, and on the interior side of the firewall (under dash), it looks as though it snaps in and out via 2 tabs on the collar itself. What a run-on sentence!

        Yeah, I didn't really feel like trying to undo whatever ungodly campin held the cable in place up there on the gas pedal linkage.
