Could be faulty tube seal, or a loose plug. Either way it's possible the compression is popping it off, or the crankcase pressure is. Is your PCV valve operating properly....

are the spark plug wires the correct ones for your model year? only reason im asking is i see alot of wire sets that say for accord 90-97, and i dont think they fit sometimes. when i put the f22b1 head on my car and tried to reuse my f22a6 wires i had the same problem. i know its a remote possibility.

            good luck tomd

              Change them asap.
The boot area of the spark plug wire is faulty, worn most likely.
Replace your wires with NGK blue wires, they are at least made in Japan and are decent in price. ebay` it.

You can get the Bosch ones, which aren't half as bad, but just get replacements soon.

My Accord did that. Cylinder 3 wire kept poppin off and the idle was erratic all of a sudden...you could cause misfire if one cylinder isn't being sparked(fired) correctly.

yea i was thinking of just buying NGK's. cylinder 3 is also the one popping off, but i haven't encountered and erratic idling or misfiring yet. hopefully everything is fine until i get new NGK's. is there a product number i should be looking for?

Don't replace your wires yet, check to see if compression pressure is leaking past the threads on your spark plugs, since it's one plug wire and it is still popping off, it's probably a loose plug.

I had a set for sale, NGK blue wires for a good price. sold, always when you need that shit

Yes, they range from $50-60 dollars...depending on your year, you may have to get the one with the coil wire as well, but check your motor, see if it needs one.

                          I agree with Wiccanvampier...

If cylinder 3, the sparkplug wire snugs back on, have you checked your spark plug itself?
Most likely, the insulation on the spark plug wire does not fit anymore, or has worn out...tell me this...
are you wires stock? meaning, black spark plugs wires? if so, wipe off the crust and oil, and examine the wire...it will have a "born on date." 1990, 1991...in red, small ass letters too...

It's always good to upgrade wires, better conductivity, flow. There are no needs for the 8mm, huge magencor wires, unless used for another application.
