    Tachometer and speedometer failure.

So the last few times I've driven the car there has been a rather interesting issue occurring. At first, whenever I turned on my turn signal (either direction) the tachometer and speedometer would dip to zero. My battery voltage when this was happening was around 13.3-13.8V. I also did not lose any other functions on the cluster, just tach and speed. Tonight, on my drive home, both the tach and the speedometer stopped working completely. I checked the ECU from my phone and the computer was still getting speed and tach signal from the sensors as it should. The wiring diagrams that I do have access to don't seem to specifically tell me where both the speedo and tach get power from. Is there a common fuse between those two and nothing else in the cluster or is this a sign of the cluster failing? I've never heard of anyone having issues with a CB cluster so I'd imagine it's not very common?

I think you start with a potentially blown fuse or faulty ground. If not I would suspect the cluster might have corrosion on the PCB or a bad solder joint.

check your driver side grounding box that mounts on the inside of the fender. it's a clearish-yellow box. I bet your wipers aren't working right either. The other problem i've had was when the ignition switch went out. Definitely check grounds.

It's funny you mention that, the wipers do work rather slowly and at idle my gauges will sometimes dip out with the blinkers if all my lights are on along with the wipers. I'll definitely check this out.

100% grounding box like mentioned above. Had the same problem when I relocated some wires and didn't bolt it down.
