Coming up on replacing the exhaust system on my 91 EX wagon - looking for input on cat-back systems, preferably 2.25 inch stainless (ideally not polished) with an oval muffler and resonator.
Far as I can tell all systems currently available are configured to fit coupes & sedans, so assume some alteration will be needed at the muffler end for wagon fitment.
Wagon is a daily driver and I’m old (mid 70’s) – although cost is always a factor, for me noise level and sound quality are more important than bargain pricing. Expect any aftermarket performance system to be somewhat louder than stock, but don’t want a system that’s obnoxious or drones (unpleasant on multi-hour freeway trips).
Anyone have experience with any of the systems below, or have a recommendation for systems from other manufacturers?
