get some polishing compound from autozone and buff the hell out of it. once it looks good pay someone to clearcoat it. thats what im doing
      Maple50175 - you're annoying =P
Brandoncb7 - I don't mean to come across like an ass but I see why you irritate Aaron now.
JoshM - Crotch rocket = chick magnet.

I wasted a lots of money trying all of those waxing products and P.B. and ended up getting it re-creared... would have saved alot of money if I would have done that in the first place. go to a reputable shop if you are gona end up re-crearing it to avoid "fish eyes" due to the carbon weave.

peanut butter definitely works, a guy did it on his CRX CF hood and he said it lasted for a couple weeks at best. It has natural oils from the peanut butter that work into the clearcoat/paint and restores it....temporarily at least.

                    ^ Yeah...

The urge to put jelly on, after the peanut butter, would just be too much.

make sure to use the creamy Jif variety and not the crunchy, i could just see someone use the crunchy kind because that's all they had in the cupboard.

i remember seeing a diy on another forum where you wet sand it down, add three layers of clear coat spray can, and buff it back up.. i wish i saved the link now..but at least you have a general idea

then maybe a side of lays on the fenders? and a nice refreshing coke on the roof?

itd be like a brand new paintjob after that.

don't polish it if your gona have it cleared.. because they will be sanding it down anyways...

and it's not the peanutbutter that gives a quick fix, it's the oil in the stuff..
                              it's called vegtable oil..
and just use the that, vegtable oil, it will hide alot, but it will also be a pallen magnet..

i know. we have done this to many things.
Another thing is tire shine,, same concept..

have it sanded cleared,, then sanded and cleared again, then wetsanded and buffed, thats how i do all my CF parts.
