from my experience with aftermarket general auto store cv's ive come to the conclusion that even though honda makes u pay out the ass for them, they are worth it quality wise
every one that i kno that has had their cv's replaced by non oem has to either end up buying another one or having the job redone because something in the cv effed up. not only his but almost 75% of the cv's in my salvage yard has torn boots (not just a lil nick im talking about like completely 3 part boot haha) so you honestly dont kno what to expect
i believe they sell a cv rebuild kit at general autoparts stores and ive heard no complaints from these ( if the job was done correctly ). it would be nice to get a deep DIY on this including where the member got his rebuild supply's from, total cost, and total time consumption of project.
