Blackhousing: paint method & different color high beam?

I read the "painting tips" thread as well as the USDM blackhousing DIY.
i was wondering, do i let the paint dry in between coats?

also, i saw that you can paint the high beam section yellow. i noticed how some people put brighter bulbs in their headlights which give off a light blue-ish beam, would that look akward w/ yellow high beams? also, has anyone tried a different high beam color? if so, what are other suggested colors?

I would check local laws before modifying the high beam housing a different color with the exception of yellow.

When the highbeam is tinted yellow..owners typically change the bulb to a yellow bulb.

Nokya's are a bad price either just surf eBay brudda

        Does Guam have strict rules??

If not, spray away and have fun, like what the Thai dudes have done.

And yes, let the paint dry in between coats.

I applied 2 coats of flat black on mine.

              i see,
dude, to paint the high-beam section of the housing, does it have to be a "stained-glass" type spray paint? or can it be any other type of spray paint used on glass surfaces?

i did 4 light coats and 2 or 3 heavier coats when i did mine. allow the paint to set and dry some before doing another coat.

or use a heat gun in between coats

                          then its instant dry!

yeah it will just take longer than a 600 degree heat gun
