I have the 3 Cb7 AC bolts but I can't find any 3rd gen Prelude bolts only 4th gen bolts which have the pointy tips. Will those still work? If not I will probably need washers.

Here's a pic of the 4th gen Prelude bolts next to the CB7 bolts. Maybe I can grind/cut the tops off? In the case that i can't these will still work right, they have the right thread pitch and whatnot?

Do you have a Micrometer? I know there's a spec for the Lude bolts somewhere on here. And yeah, most likely you would need washers.

Says in the Honda dealer that they are 8X105... Guess that's 5 mm's too long. So washers it will be... I just hope that my intake gasket isn't stuck on, those paper gaskets can get so difficult to remove.

Water and a stiff plastic scrapper.

Thanks for answering my question man. Now what do you think the chances are that my gaskets will be ruined when I take off the plenum? Thing is, I ordered a gasket but it only came with one. The gaskets I did put on there originally have only about 10,000 miles on them but they are made of paper (Fel Pro).

When I go to take off the plenum do you think the gasket will be ruined?

Got the washers by the way.

Okay, just got the IAB spacer installed and the wiring all put in place to be spliced together, but I ran into a problem. Just as I was bolting on the vacuum box one of the vacuum nipples broke off. Now it was already broken off when I bought it (from a 92' Prelude) and the person before had used gorilla glue to fix them (both are broken). Since it seemed kind of shitty, I took the glue off and used (you're gonna love this), JB WELD! Turns out JB WELD jobs did exceptionally well, but the other one I did not apply enough and it snapped off during installation... Here is a pic of the new JB weld job, the one pointing up snapped off:

I do indeed have another box which is from a 92' Accord, however this one was in even worse shape. The solenoid had cracks in it and could not hold its vacuum as a result. Even after I used RTV on it its not fixed. Also the screw holding the solenoid in place stripped out for both boxes, so switching the solenoids is pretty much out of the picture... Unless someone can tell me how to remove stripped screws?

                  Pics of RTV job:

So I'm just going to wait until the JB WELD fully cures and try it out again. Aside from that, the double stack worked great! All I had to do was use washers. Didn't need 2 gaskets either. The job went without a hitch. All I got to say for this job is don't tighten the bolts down too much, it is aluminum and can strip out. Also my coolant hoses were just long enough at the FTIV, and I did not have to remove them for the job. Don't drop anything in the opened manifold, a nut would be bad! Other than that its an easy job. the 3 92' prelude bolts worked perfectly. I am excited to see what the results of this job is, having never used IAB's before or a double stack.

B20A5 engine ( has vac controlled butterflies exactly as those found on F22A's and H23A's )

Post #5. on this guys setup he swapped to a single runner Intake manifold, B21A1 ( much like those found in F22A1's or H22 Euro R's ) and saw substantial gains.
