Oh snap, for some reason I thought I was looking in the "todays post" when I saw this haha. I thought Raf just posted...

It's crazy how much I've learned since I wrote this originally. I built my Neon back in 09, that's when I originally wrote this I think. Did a lot of reading and research. Tuned it on MS.

HOLY ---- ; Amazing breakdown! Anyone interested in Forced Induction should be reading this.. A giant turbo on the wrong setup can be more than half as efficient as something a little smaller like a nice disco potatoe

Updated with link to Excel file. I'm new to Google docs, but please just download it and don't edit anything online.

I wrote this back in 08. I actually posted it here 2.5 years ago with no response. I re wrote it since my grammar is better now and re designed the walkthrough using an H22 instead of my old 2.4 I had in the Neon. Used different turbo maps too. For some reason it has recieved a better response now.

properly choosing turbo size 1st page 5 down

properly choosing a turbo size 1st page 10th down

choosing a turbo size 3rd page

there are more, like, "turbo cb7"

I would think of something that someone would type into google and then change the name maybe just "choosing a turbo size"

    Great writeup bro.

Thanks man! If I can get into it I'll go into fuel injectors in detail along with pipe sizing and some other stuff. I plan on boosting as soon as school is over so this is a pretty good tool. The best way to make it more accurate is if you can actually measure your engines effeciency at the critical points of interest.
