ENG: F22B DOHC Head Swap onto F22AX Block

If there are any questions, please feel free to ask me. Like I said, the procedure was very simple. It is critical that you purchase a shop manual that covers both the Accord and Prelude w. H23 motor info.

New to the site and to the idea of using parts from other engines. I am planning on doing this head swap. Could you post the year and model of the cars the various engine parts came from (as to assist in searching for the parts online). Thanks so much for the write up.

i have a h23 head and need to know (pics please) what needs to be blocked off for no oil leak. thanks. what timing belt is better gsr or h23? i need a h23 lower timing gear? pleaselet me know. thanks

Go to Autozone.com and look on the online shop manuals. You'll find it there pretty easy, piece of cake!

ive looked for one, no shops carry preludes.. thats why i asked ppl here i looked on ebay and they want 30 for it. screw that

the tightening sequence for all the bolts on the head ie what order do you tighten all the bolts down and what torque specs they are
