i buy my fuel filters from the dealer...around $20 from what i remember

one suggestion...i use flare nut wrenches for the fittings on the fuel lines not to strip them

I messed up my first time, i bent the fuel line and ended up with a leak... It was my fault cause i wasnt using the proper tools. I fixed it by buyin a new steel line from autozone, bending, flaring and fitting it with a compression fitting. it was a pain...

here's a pic of the filter after removing the black box and intake...

Just done this yesterday Had my car for about 4 yrs and never changed it . The gas inside was dirty . It took me about 15-20 mins to do everything. Was pretty straight forward, the only hard part was trying to break the screws loose. Just make sure you don't strip them or bend the lines. Overall its a piece a cake . Noticed my car ran a lil more smooth and got a lil more gas mileage

Tips on how I found it making the job easier.

                    -Take the off the intake
                    -Take off the black box.

                    will create more space

I ended up twisting its mounting around and couldn't budge the banjo bolt. I don't think it's been replaced in 10 years. Is there any hope of being able to do this myself? I think I'll take it to my trusty shop, but complications look likely…
