INT : 5th gen Lude Cluster Swap into CB7 EX-R M/T (A/T Avail.)

So....no one has been able to do this, cleanly and correctly..??

It looks like alot of trouble and hassle. Hacking up the cluster and the gaps and wiring and all that jazz. Probably would be easier to just swap in a 6G Accord cluster, lol.

from what Ive seen, for the avg person its pretty complex. But with some patience, ALOT of time, reading, and troubleshooting, it can happen. I honestly, am thankful for Gus having this done. He spent half a day doing research to get everything right, and another half soldering/installing. Then after most was done, started troubleshooting. But again, very thankful, and it looks amazing.

The gap isnt going to be much of an issue. When I get sometime, I have the Prelude plastic bezel that im going to use to close the gap with a little modification.

Well im pretty pleased with my outcome. Heres what 10 hrs got me....
Idk if you can see it that well. If you notice on the cbs there is still a small gap on the stock cluster...

Wow...I've been off of CB7Tuner for so long...nice to see my DIY is still being used. I hope to get back a CB some day & do this swap again.

I have a 92 EX 4 door, auto.....
can i use your DIY with no problems? im a lil confused on what exact year this one is for.... an what year cluster out of a lude do i get.... thansk!!!

i believe h22a4 engines with atts clusters effect the cb7 ALB system. i installed my bb6 base model cluster a while back and didnt have a code and then swapped in a different bb6 cluster from an h22a4 and it threw an ABS code. blue/red to blue/white cant miss em. and i didnt have this code on my cb7 cluster. swapped back to cb7cluster to troubleshoot and no code. just a little fyi for everyone
