    Carpets cleaning and seats removing.

Hi, today i cleaned my carpets and i decided to do a diy to show peoples every states of the cleaning , including the seats removing , i hope this will be useful.

You need a shop vac, cleaning product like hertel or other soap, cloths, a carpet cleaner ( i used turtle wax oxy power out), a rachet (wrench , i dont know the english term !) , flat screw drivers and a 14 mm wrench bit.

1: take off the 4 or 3 bolts caps to unscrew the seat.

be careful not to break this cap , it has a pin under it , i broke mine !

2: take the seat out of the car by the door.

3: enjoy how its dirty under the seat !

4: use the shop vac to eliminate the sand, chips, gums, cutip, and everything

5: Wash with normal soap , the 4 metal support where the seat bolt to eliminate the excessive rust or dirt.

6: Use the carpet cleaner and wash with a cloth has long has you can to eliminate the dirt ( i had rust on the carpet and after 10 minutes it disapeared ! ) so dont give up !

7: Do an other cleaning with the shop vac!

8: Lay on the back seat and enjoy the clean carpets.

9: Paint the 8 metal pins with some can paint ( i used black paint )

10: Wash the under part of the seats and paint the rusted parts)

11: Put the seats back in the car , dont give up , this could be difficult, i noticed that the extreme left ( dirver side ) pin and the extreme right (passenger side) pins are difficult to bolt so put the bolt in these holes first! ant the bolt the 3 others.

12: You can be proud of you, your interior now looks like NEW !!!

      Wow!
      That's pretty damn clean!

Makes me almost want to be proactive and do this on my day off.

              Damnit.
              I was afraid of that.

Oh well, I can bust out the "Resolve", "409", "Shout", and a scrubber and get to work.

Well, if you have a good can cleaner and a good shop vac , its not going to be that tough ! Depends if your interior is very dirty "!

I'm not really an interior armorall fan, i dont like when everything i touch has armorall on it. but interior plastics with armorall on it looks damn more clean !

reminds me of the time when i first brought the car home and had to do the same to the interior, then another time when i had to clean it again because someone busted out my window and jacked my broken radio.
