INT:Automatic to Manual Shift Knob Conversion

I hate that when you manu-shift the auto you go forward, some times I get caught up I try to pull the shifter back to go to second.

my friends friends was in my car today in the passenger seat and when i was driving he kept looking at it. and when we stopped he was like alright tell me whats up with this thing he was confused and so i explained to him.

i installed a 5spd leather boot over my auto shifter, but i left the original auto shift knob. just did the boot... because i had an extra one? lol

its only rice if you want to be "cool" and pretend to have a 5spd, but i have to say, the stock AUTO shifter is an eyesore and can definitely benefit being chopped and styled sportier...

the point of the mod is to give the interior a cleaner look. not fool anyone into thinking you have a 5spd. if someone is fooled by it, that their stupidity. but it makes it worse if your the one who tells them it is. some people do swap an auto knob back on there. but its all about preference. it's their car. their money.


as far as the cup holder. um....yeah. i ripped it out. it didnt want to stay in. lmao. so i just used my seat and the e-brake as a cup holder. worked wonders

Dag I never got around to doing this. I am going manual soon.

But to the people who call this rice, take your asses to Honda tech and call people rice on there. This is a simple interior fashion mod using OEM materials.

I've had this for the longest. At first, I used the Crown Royal boot with the automagic shifter, then got a "CF" auto shifter, then that revolver, and then got a Civic knob.
