    INT: Rear Center Seatbelt Delete.

How many times have you had people try to sit in your middle seat? Well for me its been too many times. So im getting rid of the seatbelt so no one can sit there anymore ( And if they do we'll see if the ABS still works )

Well today i found out while removing my integras rear seats somthing new. The seatbelt buckles arent attached to the center seatbelt like the accord buckles are. So i test swaped them in. They fit, work, and look great. No more middle seatbelt!

    Tools

    17mm socket
    10mm socket
    Extension
    ratchet

    Parts

Two rear seatbelts from a 1990-1993 acura integra
(PS: Integra interior colors: Black, Tan, Blue, Brown. Sorry people with maroon and grey interiors )

Step 1: Remove your rear seat by removing 1 rear bolt near the center
Step 2: Remove the seatbelt buckle and center seatbelt/buckle from your car
Step 3: Install integra rear seatbelt
    Step 4: Reinstall seat
Step 5: Tell everyone who requests to sit in the center seat that they can't any more

Finished product ( Left side seat )

Accord seatbelt buckles vs Integra seatbelt buckles

    Me buckled up safely

    Hope you enjoyed this DIY

I don't get it. What do you need the DA seatbuckle for? And you need better pics that show what you're doing better...

the da buckles aren't sewn together so they can be separated.

The center buckle on the CB is combined with the driver's rear buckle.

If you replace the CB buckle with the DA buckle, you can completely delete the center belt rather than tucking or cutting it off.

So you traded the double buckle for a single and then removed the center strap, right?

I just removed all the rear buckles, lol. No one sits back there and it's less wait.

Yes thats exactly what i did. The center strap is also sewn to the passenger buckle. So you need both rear DA buckles. I gusse i should include that up top.

Im keeping my seatbelts. I like passengers some times lol.
