    for all you aspiring welders

    Heres some of my work and welds,I'm using a lincoln 455 amp welding machine.

    heres a platform I built to go in front of a milling machine,






    BUILDING A CATCH BOX FOR ANOTHER MILLING MACHINE



    FINISHED BOX SET IN PLACE BEFORE BEING PAINTED

    CUTS THROUGH 1 1/4 LIKE HOT KNIFE THROUGH BUTTER(can cut up to 3")

        NOW MY WELDS,

        this was a multibead pass,10 total beads,1 the 2 over,then 3 over,then 4over,

              Man thats some great work. I can weld but I just don't have steady enough hands.

                  yeah i was thinking the same thing, its crazy how clean that cut was through the 1 1/4. what were those parts even for? looks like you really know what youre doing.

                    Looks good to me!! A tad hot maybe but with as thick plate as your playing with i guess i should hush haha

                    What wire and gas you using??? looks like a bottle of 75% 25% guessing 4043???

                      I work for SUMITOMO DRIVE TECHNOLOGIES, we make gears and speed reducers for gear boxes

                        hot,thats the only way I weld,running it at 27-30 volts with wire speed at 560-600, right now using .035 mig on 95%-5% mix(the best for heavy structural,
