    New Shift Boot...Thoughts?

I purchased it from Pullapart from a Volvo or a Volkswagon or something I really cant remember but It looked cool so I got it. took a little fabricating to make it work but I like it. I removed the chrome piece from under the shift knob hoping it helped stretch it out, but it still looks very wavy. Still better than Stock though, IMO.

Stock Shift Boot (not my car)

              makes the interior look older.

Can't say I like it. It reminds me of my dad's old Ford Escort wagon... which I almost got stuck with instead of the CB!

I'm actually contemplating a custom gated shifter for my own. I think it would look sweet with Mugen's etched ball shift knob... get the shift lever itself chromed, wrap the center console and dash in leather, oh snap!... I'm a huge fan of Ferrari, vintage or modern. Most people probably won't understand, but that never matters. Sorry for kicking a dead horse, but this is something you have to live with, no one else. Build the car for you!

                  I agree. It'd look better in a 2nd/3rd gen.
