In this forum you have to write a guide on how you did the item not just show it off.
sold! But here's my build thread for those interested.

A write-up's not required unless it's in the DIY section; you're perfectly okay just showing it off in an image gallery.

I've been on the fence about LEDs for so long, teetering either way in opinion. Some are nice, most look tacky to my eye. This is actually a pretty decent example in my opinion; maybe because of its simplicity. Did you just stick a strip in there, or wire up individual LEDs and figure out the needed resistance? I need to pick up a pair of taillights from a junkyard and play around with custom patterns - or at least start sketching, I LOVE the Car Shop Glow tails for the S2k and FD - maybe I can become a convert.

Correct. This is where you post pictures. The Appearance subforum would work as well, since you're showing off a particular modification. No writeup necessary in this section.

A DIY would most certainly be appreciated, though, as that's pretty cool looking!

We're going to be updating the DIY section to require a stricter format, and the mods and I are discussing ways to make the pictures more permanent (most likely it'll just end up being a lot of work for us, but no different for anyone else.) The more stuff we get to bring the DIY section back to life, the better!

Apparently it was posted in the DIY section, and moved by a mod.

Yes, the DIY section is for showing people how to do things. Not just for posting a couple pictures of what you did. I'd have deleted it. excalibur02 was nicer than I!
