Sorry to hear about the halfshaft bro! I was looking forward to see you run today and snap some shots...But then again, the weather is kinda shitty, so not meant to be i guess...
I wish I kept my halfshaft from my swap last time, but I threw it out along with my old motor haha..
Lol you guys, I have only broken 1 axle, it literally split in half inside the halfshaft, I did not mix the left side for the ride side because i dont even think they are the same length so it wouldnt work even if i wanted to...?
A lot of people have told me to run lifetime warranty axles from an auto parts store, and just swap em when i break them, at least its free, breaking $400 axles would suck.
Tires at the track are Nitto NT01 R compound, 235/40/17. On my 13.7 I didnt even do a burnout, im sure that would help with traction also, or it might help with breaking more axles lol
No need for anything other than OEM axles. If you know how to launch, they'll handle 600whp without issues. I personally know 2 people than put down 500whp+ and have been running OEM axles for years. One of them runs mid 11's.
I'm sure some of your axle issues are due to your axle angles. You sure you didn't mix the drivers side for the passenger side?
yes, but the man seems to be breaking his oem axles, wouldn't you aire on the side of caution and upgrade them...especially if you are new at racing?
