pocketDyno is an app i got for my iPod touch
basically... you enter in the car's weight and you it measures your HP based on G-forces when you floor it. there's some kind of accelerometer inside the iPod... that's where the app gets the reading from...
i doubt it's accurate... but it's supposed to be
