Hmm where to start well i started the day by installing my new cluster.
what do u think?


Also getting thing preped for my HU


Then moved on to fitting my visors then i realized i forgot the 2sided tape @ home.. FAILED



So I had an A6 IM made before i got my H and had to swap out the bottoms so i had to detail the H Im to match all my motor cosmetics.



After all of that i took a smoke break

Came back and put a 2nd coat on my T-cover I took off the week before.



After removing the cover that week I wasn't pleased with the condition of the T gears and such, which made me worry about the pistons and valves etc...

That prompted me to pull the gear for cleaning (which was pointless didnt get much results) and the head to inspect below.

UGH i just have to rant for a minute about how fuking hard it was to undo the head bolts alone. These pics show somewhat of the technique i used to remove them. The pillow is there to comfort my leg cause metal HURTS, along with a big bar, and I used my tranny on top of a recycling bin to stop my dolly from pivoting. But on the bright side no cuts today YEAHHH



After I removed the head I inspected everything and was somewhat relieved to find no cracks, scoring, or any damage as a matter of fact(BTW FYI Motor came from a JY) etc...



Only carbon which was scraped off with a wire brush then blown clean with air. Mind you i took extra caution when i was scraping the piston only gentle strokes, and i covered most of the holes.

I Want to get rid of this carbon ring SUGGESTIONS??(dont want any chemicals in there)

I hope the journals an stuff are good down there cuz ima throw it down.

Hopefully 2moro I'm in the mood to pick up some gaskets and such to reassemble the block and get ready for the drop can't wait.
I'm aiming to have it in before May, my emission is due in April so I figure if I do my E test 1st. I get exempted for 2yrs and dont have to worry bout ir cuz i know the motor in there will pass.
