Installing parts I just got: (Gaskets for IM, right uca and ball joint, sway bar links, IAB Valve, Valve cover gasket set with spark plug tube seals, m3 style trunk lip spoiler, window visors, sunroof visor)
I bought my sedan last summer for 2 grand with 203,000 miles which kinda sounds like a rip and it was, kinda. Not a horrible deal because it came with a new battery, water pump, oil pump, timing belt, alternator, distributor, plugs, wires, radiator, lower ball joints, axles and CV joint boots (Other stuff too though I forgot). The guy I bought if from pretty much just sells accords, most being CBs after fixing them up. Mine was probably in the worst shape of the bunch, because of all the mismatched parts, when I got it it had gold exterior, a silver front right fender, black rear door, and the hood was also black. Interior is burgundy but some of the door handles are beige haha. The motor is also swapped, with a leaky F20A SOHC with only 10k less miles than the chassis. I couldn't stand driving a tri-colored car so me and some friends did a pretty shabby rattle can first-timer job on her, flat black. The front two wheels I found out were nissan wheels and the back two some other stock honda rims I haven't ever really seen haha, so I painted them too to make them look more similar. Despite the age and miles, the car ran like a champ with a lil help from me, and I put 7,500 miles on the mother in two months! The only times she ever left me on the side of the road were because of flat tires- never broke down. I haven't driven her in a year though because I got a couple of speeding tickets and was returning to my small college campus. I am in the process of getting new wheels and tires and fixing up a number of issues.
I will post up pics when I can after I return home and maybe not until I get it looking like less of a cb7 embarrassment, haha. I'm basically tryin to go for a Black/Red color scheme.
