I just pulled wire through some tight situations for a wire tuck. I’d rather do 5 more variable intermittent wiper mods before I do a drivers side wire tuck again lol. I’m glad you got it handled John. It’s a great mod for anybody who drives in wet weather.

Yep I think you made the right choice with the red and blue background. Mark hooked me up with some crv switches that are red as well. How did you get the backlit to work? Did you have to sand it a bit to allow some light to get through the sides?~Nick~

Hey
I just ran the blue LED along the side of the switch. There's enough gap to allow light to show through. I use to have this setup prior and learned that you need to put it on the correct side. On the passenger side I'm putting the light on the left side (inside) shining to the right. Also trying to get it mid way on the switch. Never in direct line of sight too. Depends on the angle or how tall you are in the seat here too.

Thanks for the kind words all!
You all get the idea here. I used a combo of liquid electrical tape and hot glue to make things stay. Solder LEDs to resistors and run to 12V power and ground.
Going to tweak this a bit. Move the blue light a bit, fix the lower right red light which appears to be dimmer than the rest. Just have the rear doors left to do!
