It needs some work here and there but it looks like you have a pretty good foundation to start with. You'll be addicted to these cars in no time lol.

I already am. LOL I'm trying to do something to her every day, even if I'm broke, I try thinking of something I can do that doesn't require money. LOL

That's why the interior is stripped. Cleaning & Scraping!

This is what I did yesterday morning.

The deleted power steering & a/c parts so far.

How she's looking right now, jacked up ready to have the tranny pulled, steering rack pulled, & the rest of the p/s+a/c deleted.

That's the work scheduled for this morning.

It looks like you inherited somebodies project car.

We have the same steering wheel cover!

                  I just ordered these parts:
                  header/downpipe gasket
                  inner/outer tie rods
front upper control arms w/ ball joints
                  sway bar bushings
                  front lower ball joints
                  new dizzy w/ 1yr warranty
f1 racing stage 1 clutch kit
new shift boot (black leather with blue thread)

Can't wait to get them in and start installing.

                  I still need:
                  stud for valve cover
                  steering rack boots
                  oil for transmission
                  seals for transmission
                  gas gauge
                  rear brake shoes
                  front rotors
                  tires & alignment
                  struts & springs
                  camber kit(depends on the struts/springs i get)
                  spare rim&tire
o2 sensor(if fixing the exhaust leak @ the gasket doesn't stop the code.)
tune-up(spark plugs & wires since I've already put in a new fuel filter, changed the oil, & flushed the coolant)

                  tools to buy:
                  bolt extractor
                  torque wrench
                  timing gun

The tires are 205/60r15. the same is in the back, but the back is VERY bald and going flat. You can see the wire all the way around the tire its so bald. I'm surprised it holds any air at all. LOL

I'm considering dropping the size down to 205/55 or 205/50. I don't know tho, cuz it gets more expensive the smaller they get & speed ratings go down too.

Yeah. the tail lights do not look good on the car. The stock ones came in the trunk when I bought it though. I can put them back in at any time. Then I could ebay the tails or try sellin em' here.

Yes in fact it was a project car. The guy I bought it from was only selling it cuz he lost his job. So he was just keeping his mustang, sold his other cars, sold the CB to me, and was trying to sell an 86 Chevy Silverado too. He's the one who put the tails, exhaust & muffler on it. Said he was plannin a H22 swap before he lost his job. Don't know why he bought the header if he was plannin that.

First priority get her on the road. After that, find a place & new job. After that, even if I don't have a new job, start planning the interior(only got the shift boot cuz I cant stand not havin one & the old one was torn & drivin me nuts), paint job, some new rims, maybe some f22 upgrades, or a swap. I don't know yet. Whatever I do, I want it to last me. I could see me converting her to electric if they outlawed gasoline engines. LOL Only car I think I'd get rid of her for would be a Skyline. I don't have that kinda money tho.

There are some chips & scratches in the paint job. plus the black hood & bumper isn't my style. I like solid colors. No stickers nothin. If anything I would have just the bottom trim black & the rest royal blue. That's for well after she's on the road & i solve my strut/spring problem tho. then I'll worry about looks. She already looks better than a lot of cars I see around here tho.
